Your Role as Accounting Manager
This is not just an accounting role—it’s an opportunity to shape financial strategy, improve cost-saving initiatives, and ensure seamless accounting operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing full-cycle accounting: AP/AR, payroll, commissions processing, and job costing.
- Handling payroll processing via ADP, including prevailing wage considerations.
- Utilizing ERP Software (Pro-Contractor by Trimble, Vista, Spectrum, or similar).
- Supporting financial analysis and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards (preferred).
- Monitoring company expenses and developing cost-saving strategies.
- Cross-training and delegating tasks to the accounting assistant for smooth operations.
- Assisting in bid meetings and financial reviews, providing historical data insights.
- Attending weekly leadership meetings with the CEO, VP, and Office Manager.
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Skills
- 5 years of accounting experience in the construction industry (AEC sector preferred).
- Expertise in job costing, commissions, and project-based accounting.
- Proficiency with ERP accounting software (Pro-Contractor by Trimble, Vista, Spectrum, or Sage preferred).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pro-forma tables, pivot tables, and financial modeling.

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Salary Range: $80K-$95K (DOE)
