Your Role as Paving Maintenance Supervisor
As the Paving Maintenance Supervisor , you will oversee and maintain equipment critical to paving, seal coating, and concrete operations. Your primary responsibilities include developing preventive maintenance programs, managing repairs, and ensuring seamless coordination with field leaders.
Key Responsibilities :
Safety & Compliance – Enforce OSHA standards, promote a culture of safety, and ensure all maintenance work follows regulatory guidelines.
Team Leadership – Train, mentor, and lead maintenance personnel, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
Equipment & Preventive Maintenance – Oversee maintenance and operation of paving, seal coat, and concrete equipment. Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
Shop & Yard Management – Maintain an organized and efficient maintenance shop and yard, ensuring tools and equipment are in optimal condition.
Regulatory & Environmental Compliance – Manage safety and environmental permitting requirements, ensuring full compliance with regulations.
Scheduling & Coordination – Work closely with operations leadership to schedule and prioritize equipment repairs, minimizing disruptions to field operations.
Repairs & Troubleshooting – Oversee and manage equipment repairs, coordinating with in-house teams and external service providers as needed.
What We’re Looking For :
Experience – Minimum of 5 years in asphalt paving, seal coat, or concrete equipment maintenance , with at least 5 years in a supervisory role .
Technical Skills – Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, fleet management, and repair procedures .
Leadership & Communication – Ability to train, mentor, and effectively communicate with field teams and leadership.
Hands-On Ability – Comfortable performing repairs and troubleshooting equipment when necessary.
Regulatory Knowledge – Familiarity with safety and environmental permitting for maintenance facilities.
Computer Skills – Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for managing maintenance schedules and reporting.
Spanish Fluency – Preferred but not required.
Valid Driver’s License – CDL preferred but not required.
Schedule :
Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work during peak seasons.
