Oversee key financial operations such as budgeting, forecasting, job costing, and project accounting.Collaborate with project managers and leadership to optimize financial efficiency and drive business growth.Work alongside a team of experienced professionals committed to innovation and excellence in the construction industry.Your Role as Accounting Manager :
As the Accounting Manager, you’ll oversee the company's financial health, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. Responsibilities include :
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.Develop, implement, and monitor budgets and financial forecasts.Provide data-driven recommendations for cost control and operational improvements.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.Coordinate with external auditors or accountants for year-end tax filings and audits.Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure operational liquidity.Oversee invoicing, billing, collections, and payroll processing.Track and analyze job costs, ensuring projects stay within budget.Collaborate with project managers on budgets, forecasts, and performance.Utilize ERP tools to manage accounting and finance operations.What We’re Looking For :
5 years of accounting experience, including 2 years in a managerial role.Experience in construction accounting or job costing preferred.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented and highly organized.Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.Knowledge GAAP.Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.Non Negotiable Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required.Must live within commuting distance of San Jose, CA, for in-office collaboration as needed.Construction Accounting experience will considered above other industries
