As the Junior Safety / QC Engineer , you will be an integral part of the construction team, ensuring that safety and quality standards are met at all project sites. Responsibilities include :
Conducting weekly site safety inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies.Verifying that all job sites are equipped with the necessary safety equipment and procedures.Acting as the point of contact for incident reviews and field personnel safety concerns.Assisting in the development and enforcement of safety programs, annual reviews, and corrective action plans.Tracking and analyzing safety data trends to implement proactive solutions.Collaborating with the Safety Manager to develop and implement site-specific safety protocols.Managing data entry for monthly safety reports and incident tracking.Traveling up to 75% for site inspections and safety audits nationwide.What We’re Looking For
Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Construction Management, or a related field.1-3 years of experience in safety and quality control, ideally within civil construction.Experience with site inspections and compliance auditing is highly valued.Certifications & Technical Proficiency
OSHA 30, First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications (or willingness to obtain).Experience using HCSS software is a plus.Soft Skills & Personality Fit
