We’re looking for a compassionate, creative, and organized individual to lead our resident activity programs and volunteer coordination. In this role, you’ll design and oversee engaging daily activities that enhance quality of life, while also recruiting and managing a dedicated team of volunteers.
Responsibilities include:
Planning and executing a monthly calendar of events
Coordinating with staff to meet residents' social, physical, and emotional needs
Recruiting, training, and scheduling volunteers
Ensuring all activities comply with regulatory standards
Ideal candidate:
Has a background in recreation, social work, or a related field
Brings energy, creativity, and strong organizational skills
Enjoys working with seniors in a team-oriented environment

CTRS (Certification therapeutic recreation specialist)/ Activities Director Certification is preferred
Minimum 2 years experience in a long-term care setting;
1 year of experience as a director of activities in LTC is preferred
Demonstrates the appropriate skills necessary to care for the needs of the residents
Possess the ability to make independent decisions.
