Position Overview
Parkhurst Academy is seeking a passionate and skilled Part-Time Music / Vocal Teacher to lead students in developing their musical talents while integrating Christian values into instruction. The ideal candidate will have experience in vocal training, choral direction, and general music education, fostering a love for music in students of all ages.
Key Responsibilities
- Vocal Instruction : Teach students proper vocal techniques, breath control, and performance skills.
- Choral Direction : Lead and direct school choirs, preparing students for performances.
- General Music Education : Provide instruction in music theory, ear training, and sight-singing.
- Performance Preparation : Organize and direct school concerts, chapel performances, and other musical events.
