Job Overview
Parkhurst Dining is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dish Room Worker to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment for Days, Nights and Weekends. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dish area, ensuring that all kitchenware is properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and providing an excellent dining experience for Faculty, Staff and the Student population on campus.

Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dish room and surrounding areas, including sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift moderate weights as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
