Job Summary:The Junior Architectural Technologist will work under the guidance of senior staff and will be involved in various aspects of architectural design and project development.
The job position requires a solid educational background in architectural technology and a passion for contributing to a wide range of projects. Key Responsibilities:
The job position requires a solid educational background in architectural technology and a passion for contributing to a wide range of projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings and renderings using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
- Collaborate with the design team to develop design concepts and solutions
- Conduct research on building materials, codes, and regulations
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications
- Participate in project meetings and contribute ideas to the design process
- Assist with site visits and inspections to ensure project compliance
- Assist in the coordination of project deliverables and timelines
- Assist with project documentation and management
- Collaborate with various project team members, including architects, engineers, and contractors
- Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or related field
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience (internships or co-op experiences included)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software
- Knowledge of other design software such as SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under supervision
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
- Basic understanding of building codes and construction methods
