Office Support Assistant:
Our company is looking for an Office Support Assistant to be responsible for handling clerical tasks in our office as well as scheduling duties. You will be handling incoming phone calls and other communications, managing files, updating paperwork and other documents, and performing other general office clerk duties alongside of the daily scheduling tasks.
In order for you to be selected as a candidate, you will need the ability to write clearly and be proficient with word processing applications. A pleasing personality with strong communication skills is highly valued.
Office Assistant Daily Responsibilities:
- Handling incoming calls and messages.
- Managing filing system.
- Recording information as needed.
- Scheduling estimates on company calendar.
- Updating paperwork, maintaining documents and word processing.
- Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
- Creating, maintaining, and entering information into company’s computer software.
- Engaging in email communications.
- Scheduling day to day jobs for asphalt and sealcoating crews.
- Calling into asphalt plants to place orders.
- Coordinating and filing asphalt tickets.
Office Assistant Requirements:
- Experience as an office assistant or in related field.
- Ability to write clearly and help with word processing when necessary.
- Warm personality with strong communication skills.
- Technology proficient.
- Great communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Have a valid driver license.
