Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Welcoming and Directing Patients and Visitors:

• Greet all visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor, creating a positive first impression.
• Assist patients and visitors with obtaining wheelchairs as needed.
• Provide clear and concise directions to locations of specific facilities, areas, buildings, and departments.

Ensuring a Safe and Secure Environment:

• Observe and report any unusual behavior or loitering to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
• Report any situation or condition that could compromise the safety and security of the location, staff, or patients.

Valet Service Support (if applicable):

• Partner with the valet team by checking in vehicles and keys from incoming visitors.
• Notify valet staff when vehicles are ready to be parked or retrieved.
• Assist with service valet pick-ups and drop-offs (if applicable).

Maintaining a Professional Appearance:

• Maintain a clean and professional appearance according to uniform and hygiene standards.
• Ensure work areas and customer waiting areas are kept clean and organized.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Attending meetings and training as scheduled.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Qualifications:
•    Excellent communication: You can clearly and courteously interact with patients, visitors, and staff.
•    Customer service focus: You enjoy providing friendly and helpful service to the public.
•    Professional demeanor: You maintain a clean and professional appearance according to uniform standards.
•    Physical ability: You can stand for extended periods, lift to 50 lbs occasionally, and work in various weather conditions.
•    Team player: You are willing to collaborate with others to ensure a smooth experience for everyone.
•    Reliable: You have a strong work ethic and can be counted on to follow company policies and procedures.
•    Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with the hospital layout and approved parking areas is a plus.

Education and Experience:
•    High school diploma or GED required.
•    Customer service experience preferred, but a customer service attitude and willingness to help is essential.

Work Environment:
•    The position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme cold, heat, wet, and humid environments.
•    The work area can be noisy due to moving vehicles and general activity.

Physical Demands:
•    This role requires good vision (close, far, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus).
•    You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and stand for extended periods.
