- Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive payments strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
- Drive payments revenue growth and scaling ARR, with a focus on maximizing adoption and utilization. This includes the development of pricing models/policy to ensure margin is secured and scaled as volume increases.
- Own the Payments P&L, ensuring alignment with company financial goals.
- Design and implement go-to-market strategies for payment products, including pricing, marketing, and product positioning.
- Identify additional financial/payment services that the company can leverage across their customer base, building out business cases and collaborating cross functionally to ensure executive alignment before executing successfully.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to deliver an integrated payments experience.
- Define best practices for Payment Operations and partner with Operational leadership to ensure scalable implementation.
- Mentor and lead a high-performing payments team inclusive of Product Management & Operations.
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics for the Payments function
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities. This includes supporting the evaluation of BD-generated opportunities for payments
- Foster strong relationships with companies with complimentary products i.e., payment networks, processors etc. to drive innovative growth in current and emerging revenue streams
- Navigate the regulatory landscape to ensure compliance while pursuing aggressive growth targets
About You
- 5 years experience in digital payments
- Strong knowledge of regulatory payments frameworks such as PCI
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Experience with a payments SaaS business, gov-tech is a plus.
- Executive presence with strong communication
