Parkinson's Specialty Care is currently seeking a Licensed Assisted Living Director to join our dynamic team and lead the operations of our assisted living community in Minnesota. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to seniors, possess a valid Minnesota Assisted Living Director license, and demonstrate strong leadership and managerial skills.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the assisted living community, ensuring compliance with all state regulations and company policies.
- Provide effective leadership to the staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Resident Care:
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional care and services to residents, promoting their well-being, dignity, and independence.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay abreast of changes in state regulations related to assisted living and ensure compliance at all times.
- Work closely with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.
- Staff Training and Development:
- Conduct ongoing training for staff to enhance their skills and maintain a high standard of care.
- Implement performance management strategies and address any personnel-related issues.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the budget for the assisted living community, ensuring financial goals are met.
- Identify cost-effective strategies without compromising the quality of care.
- Family and Resident Engagement:
- Foster positive relationships with residents and their families, addressing concerns and providing support.
- Organize and participate in community events and activities to enhance resident engagement.
Qualifications:
- Minnesota Assisted Living Director License:
- Possession of a valid and current license as an Assisted Living Director in the state of Minnesota.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the assisted living or senior living industry.
- Leadership Skills:
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Compassion and Empathy:
- Genuine passion for providing compassionate care to seniors and a commitment to upholding their quality of life.
Nursing Degree is a huge plus
