Director, Marketing and Public Relations
This position is an on-campus, full-time, exempt 12-month administrative appointment with an annual salary of $82,817.66.

The Director of Marketing and Public Relations is responsible for managing the college’s brand / image, developing and implementing an integrated marketing and communications strategy, and serving as a media liaison for the college. The Director, under the supervision of the Vice-President for Strategic Partnerships and Workforce Innovation / Chief Communications Officer, is responsible for all aspects of marketing and communicating on behalf of Parkland College, including public relations, advertising, strategic communications, and strategic planning.
The Director of Marketing and Public Relations is an appointment based on a schedule established by the Vice-President for Strategic Partnerships and Workforce Innovation / Chief Communications Officer. Working hours may include evenings, holidays, or weekends depending on deadline requirements and special events. Work contacts include administrators, faculty, staff, community-based organizations, and the general public.
