Primary Purpose:Parkland Community Health Plan's (PCHP's) Systems Integration Testing Analyst works closely with business owners and IT application teams to maintain quality and performance across integrated applications.
Minimum Specifications
Education
Operations
Develop and maintain testing procedures for unit, user acceptance, and integration testing.
Oversees defined processes for identifying, documenting tracking, and resolving system defects.
Develop, executes, and maintains test plans / scripts that include objective, steps, timing, and pass / fail criteria.
Execute test cases and scripts utilizing both manual and automated methods.
Maintain documentation of testing activities, status, and outcomes.
Works closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and functions.
Identify scope of testing based on functional and technical requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders, team members, and vendors to reproduce and resolve issues.
Works closely within IT team and vendors to escalate obstacles and high-priority issues when appropriate.
Quality
Integrate health literacy principles into all communication including Members and Providers.
Support strategies that meet clinical, quality and network improvement goals.
Promote the use of Health Information Technology to support and monitor the effectiveness of health and social interventions and make data-driven recommendations as needed.
For staff in clinical roles, foster collaborative relationships with members and/or providers to promote and support evidence-based practices and care coordination.
Provide testing process feedback and make recommendations for improvements based on findings.
Drive Quality Assurance activities across PCHP's critical application systems.

Ensures work is carried out in compliance with regulatory and/or accreditation standards as well as contractual requirements.

Minimum Specifications
Education
- Associates degree in a relevant field such as business administration, information technology or related discipline required.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, information technology or related discipline preferred.
- Two (2) years of experience in systems testing / quality assurance including:
- Experience with Unit, Regression, and Systems Integration Testing.
- Experience testing in a healthcare organization, preferably using payer applications such as QNXT, Facets, or HealthRules.
- Experience building and executing test scripts using automated testing tools is preferred.
- Experience utilizing service-delivery tools such as ServiceNow for tracking testing activities and outcomes is strongly desired.
- Experience working with vendor teams to report and track system defects.
- Experience working on major application system upgrades.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively and professionally across disciplines. Ability to communicate complex information in understandable terms.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across and beyond the organization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand application functions and their related business purpose in order to build end-to-end test cases and scenarios.
- Able to understand and work across multiple production and lower system environments.
- Familiarity with full software / systems development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Familiar with testing methods, tools, and best practices.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple demands and respond to rapidly changing priorities.
- Ability to write clearly and succinctly with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficient computer and Microsoft Office skills. Ability to learn new software programs.
- Knowledge of Texas Medicaid, National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), the Uniformed Managed Care Contract, and the Uniform Managed Care Manual.
