Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) in our Cardiac Cath Lab team provides total care to patients before, during, and after procedures. This includes physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural support. Our RNs work collaboratively to deliver high-quality patient care and maintain a safe environment.
Responsibilities:
- Incorporate assessment and intervention skills in all interactions and delivery of nursing care
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently
- Organize multiple tasks, prioritize duties, and provide care for multiple patients
- Utilize triage systems and reassess patient needs promptly
- Provide clear instructions and counseling to patients about health behaviors
- Collect and perform point-of-care testing according to established policies and procedures
- Maintain instrument quality control and troubleshoot issues effectively
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's degree preferred
- New Hampshire RN license or Compact License when applicable
- BLS certification required, ACLS within six months of hire
- Two years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and interventions preferred
