Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced RN ICU Registered Nurse PRN to join our team at Parkland Medical Center. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Incorporate comprehensive assessments and interventions in all interactions and delivery of nursing care
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and management in a timely manner
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently using computer charting/ordering systems
- Apply critical thinking skills to consider alternative solutions and adapt care management for diverse populations and environments
Requirements
- BLS certification required; dysrhythmia training prior to ACLS
- ACLS certification within six months of hire
- CPI certification within three months of start of employment
- New Hampshire license or Compact License as a Registered Nurse
- Associate's degree as a Registered Nurse required; BSN preferred
- One year of critical care nursing experience preferred
