Job Description
Clinical Resource Director
The Clinical Resource Director plays a crucial role in establishing and leading the supply expense agenda for clinical resource management programs across multiple hospitals.
This strategic leader drives positive change by defining program objectives and leading initiatives that support the healthcare organization's clinical expense agenda.
- Develops facility- or division-based strategies to reduce supply expense per adjusted admission and identifies variances in supply expense.
- Participates in monthly operating reports and supply expense planning to mitigate increases in supply expense.
- Facilitates value analysis meetings to review products and technology for clinical evidence and benefit.
- BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH HOSPITAL LEADERSHIP AND COLLEAGUES TO INCREASE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND DRIVE CONTINUOUS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT.
- Collaborates with facility leadership and staff, physicians, and supply chain to identify and implement continuous quality improvement and cost containment processes.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration, Nursing, Pharmacy, or other Allied Health Profession, with related experience in healthcare value analysis, clinical supply chain, or acute care hospital performance. A minimum of three to five years of value analysis/clinical/hospital leadership experience is preferred, along with relevant credentials such as LPN/RN, CMRP, CVAHP, or similar.
