Job Description
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN, you will perform all established nuclear medicine procedures, including calibration and quality checks, radiopharmaceutical preparation, and patient care. You will work closely with physicians to adjust diagnostic studies and manipulate raw data.
Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures following accepted standards and protocols.
- Calibrate and maintain equipment, noting results in logs.
- Order, prepare, and store radiopharmaceuticals.
- Administer intravenous or venous line injections of radiopharmaceuticals.
You will participate in on-call duties and variable shifts to meet department needs.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a graduate degree from an Accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology, certification by CNMT or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine licensure, and Basic Life Support Certification.
