Job Summary
The Injury Prevention Trauma Coordinator RN plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with American College of Surgeons and state/local trauma designation standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining required documentation to support compliance.
- Developing and implementing injury prevention and outreach programs based on community/regional needs.
- Coordinating community trauma prevention programs.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of plans and developing strategies for communication, education, and feedback.
This position requires collaboration with various departments and stakeholders, including directors, surgeons, nursing staff, and emergency medical service providers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- 3 years of experience in acute care, with trauma care experience preferred.
- Active New Hampshire nursing license or compact state RN License.
- American Heart Association ACLS within 30 days of hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support.
