Job Summary and Qualifications
- You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty.
- Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage."
- You will also act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care for pre- and post-surgical patients including total joint replacements, bariatric, orthopedic, general, and more. This is a fast-paced and team-oriented environment where you can hone your nursing skills and take the next step toward critical care in a Level III Trauma facility.
Our nursing team monitors, records and communicates patient conditions as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
Recognizing and responding to changes in a patient's condition including post-op bleeding, pain issues, post-anesthesia complications, will be one of your primary functions in the role.
Our team coordinates patient discharge planning with care providers, patient family and physicians.
REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of NH or valid compact state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
