Responsibilities
The Endoscopy nurse will provide services to both inpatients and outpatients, assisting in endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies, EGD, ERCP, and TRUS Biopsy.
- Assist in endoscopic procedures under the direction of a physician.
- Provide emergency interventions when necessary.
- Rendder conscious sedation under the direction of a physician.
Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
