About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated RN to join our team as a Trauma Prevention Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful contribution to our hospital's commitment to injury prevention and trauma care.
Key Responsibilities: As a Trauma Prevention Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with American College of Surgeons (ACS) and state and local trauma designation standards. You will develop and implement injury prevention and outreach programs based on community needs assessments and Trauma Registry data. Additionally, you will coordinate community trauma prevention programs, plan activities based on performance improvement indicators, and evaluate their effectiveness.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and 3 years of experience in acute care, with trauma care experience preferred. You must hold an active New Hampshire nursing license or compact state RN License and have certification in ACLS, PALS/ENPC, TNCC, and Basic Cardiac Life Support. You will also need to obtain the Trauma Nursing Core Course and Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour certifications within 30 days of employment.
