Position Title: City Driver - Lubes
Location: Minot, ND
Position Summary: The Service Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining company vehicles. This position also performs inspections on machinery and equipment and maintains the shop in accordance with company policies.
Starting Wage: $20-24 per hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transports and delivers lubricants to Parkland USA customers in a professional, safe, efficient, timely and legal manner
- Secures all products and other essential tools required of the job are secured by using approved securing method, such as tie downs, straps, etc.
- Load and unload truck while performing frequent lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying of products, and applicable tools for the job.
- Ensures customer orders are correct. Provide excellent customer service. Report problems to supervisor in a timely and accurate manner and follow-up to ensure problem resolutions.
- May assist in warehouse on an Ad Hoc basis by safely operating warehouse equipment (e.g. forklift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.) for the purpose of moving large and heavy items safely and effectively. Loads and unloads delivery trucks for the purpose of receiving stock and/or filling orders for transport, including package or bulk conveyance, protecting the product integrity and minimizing the risk for spills
- Must have high degree of attention and considerable dexterity in the control of the vehicle to ensure proper delivery while preventing damage to materials and equipment.
- Coordinates with Dispatcher to resolve any issues, problems or concerns that arise in transit or during delivery. Decides and disseminate solutions to meet and satisfy customer Warehouse Supervisor and Dispatcher to fulfill customer orders
- Maintains a viable relationship with Dispatchers and customers to ensure needs are always met
- Provides accurate accident, safety and various other related reporting as required. Maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations
- Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions.
- Follows appropriate safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods by completing pre and post safety inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order. Report vehicle defects, incidents, traffic violations or damage to the trucks, trailers, and/or equipment immediately
- Checks vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order. Report vehicle defects, incidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicles.
- Maneuvers trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.
- Safely lifts, pushes, pulls, and lowers barrels of lubricants numerous times daily.
- Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required by immediate supervisor
- Employee must demonstrate safe work and risk management practices. Communicate and enforce all safety and security issues. Report and process all employee and/or customer incidents or unsafe acts in accordance with Parkland USA’s policy and procedure
- Ensure that confidentiality of data collected and stored are maintained
- Employee is expected to set priorities and meet deadlines. Employee is responsible for planning and carrying out assignments, resolving conflicts that arise, informing and coordinating with others as expected. Employee is accountable for ensuring the technical accuracy of their work and maintaining good working relations, both internal and external to Parkland USA. Self-direction and motivation are also expected.
