The Opportunity:
The Project Manager provides leadership and strategic direction to a Project Manager and Project Specialist, ensuring project alignment with organizational objectives and fostering continuous improvements in facility operations, infrastructure development, and environmental compliance. Strong financial oversight, risk management, and innovative problem-solving are critical to the success of this role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead major maintenance and construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet Parkland USA’s standards.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as
- Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations and quality standards
- Prepare and present project reports, including status updates, to senior management
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; PMP certification preferred.
- 8 years of project management experience in construction and maintenance, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
