Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for you to work as a PRN Ultrasound Technologist at Parkridge Medical Center, part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.

About Us

Parkridge Medical Center is a 270-bed hospital located near downtown Chattanooga. We offer comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical services, including cardiovascular surgery, cancer treatment, intensive care, orthopedic and spine surgery, and rehabilitation.

Our facility features a state-of-the-art neurosurgery program, OB-GYN services, and a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with behavioral health treatment centers for children and adults.

Job Responsibilities

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing imaging procedures in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment
• Ensuring delivery of quality patient care
• Demonstrating ability to perform surgery and portable exams
• Accurately following physician orders and documenting exam results
• FOLLOWING PROPER PROCEDURES FOR QUALITY CONTROLS AND HLD RELATED TO EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• ARDMS registered or acquire within 6 months
• BLS current
