Job Summary And Qualifications
Demonstrates the ability to:
- Receive calls over switchboard console and appropriately connects calls to the requested extensions.
- Monitors and responds to alarms appropriately, e.g. Fire Alarm, Code Blue Alarms, Medical Gas, Boiler and Security/Panic Alarms.
- Completes documentation as required in a timely manner, e.g. Incident Log Book, On Call Team Logs.
- Operates overhead paging system.
- Operates beeper/paging system/Lynx
- Demonstrates competency in computer software and equipment utilized in the department, e.g. ARC, Meditech, SharePoint, Microsoft Office, etc.
- Other responsibilities as assigned per facility or by the management team.
- Validate and document vehicle sign ins/outs.
- Coordinates with RESPOND on individuals presenting and/or calling for potential assessment and entering information on the Master Client Assessment Log.
- Pre-register patients who present for RESPOND assessment utilizing the completed “Welcome to Valley” form.
- Assemble the “Welcome to Valley” form and RESPOND packets.
- Monitors the front lobby milieu to maintain patient/visitor safety
- Maintains log for medical consults/H&P’s and provides the MD’s with their paperwork upon arrival
- High School Graduate / GED
