Summary Description:
- Performs various logistic and stocking duties related to the receiving, selling, and delivering parts and accessories that contribute to the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the dealership's parts department.
- Ongoing responsibility for assisting with the counterpart's sales and customer service responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
Parts Department:
- Receipt parts and inspect them for damage
- Stock Parts, keep stock parts orderly on the shelves
- Pick parts and stage for customer pick up or delivery
- Provide service technicians with parts as required.
- Performs housekeeping tasks that maintain the cleanliness of the parts department.
- Processes cores, warranties, and returns.
- Attend training as prescribed by management.
- Use dealership equipment and resources safely and proficiently.
- Perform other tasks as required by the Parts Manager.
- Perpetually work to make processes more efficient.
Customer Service:
- Greeting and acknowledging all customers they come in contact with.
- Conduct all actions with integrity.
- Treat customers fairly and with honesty.
- Demonstrate our commitment to superior customer service and ethical business practices
- Keeps themselves groomed and clothed per the dealership guidelines.
Qualifications

- Basic computer skills
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Good organizational skills
Physical Demands:
- The noise level in the work environment can be loud
- Requires ability to work in the heat in the summer and cold in the winter.
- Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift more than 50lbs.
- Balance and awareness: The candidate will frequently work near moving mechanical parts and will be potentially exposed to battery acid, gasoline, cleaning, and/or other toxic materials commonly found in motor vehicle service departments
