Position Purpose
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Sales Representative to join our sales team. The Sales Representative will partner closely with the inside sales and operations team members to drive sales and support the growth of our business. This role involves building relationships with customers, promoting our products, and providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains relationships with new and existing customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.
- Assists customers in selecting the right products for their projects, providing guidance on features, specifications, and pricing.
- Processes sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
- Assists with taking measurements and providing customer support as sold material is delivered.
- Generates leads through cold calling, networking, and other sales techniques to expand our customer base.
- Follows up with customers to ensure satisfaction and addresses any concerns or issues promptly.
- Collaborates with team members to develop sales strategies and achieve sales targets.
- Stays updated on industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings to effectively position our products in the market.
- Attends industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote our brand and build relationships within the industry.
- Prepares sales reports and maintains accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
- Provides feedback to management on customer needs, market trends, and product improvements.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and work effectively in a team environment.

Education, Qualifications, Licensing Requirements
High school diploma. GED, or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Management Preference
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Previous sales experience in the building supply industry is an advantage.
Bilingual skills (English and Spanish).
Working Conditions
The Sales Representative will primarily work in an office environment but may also spend time visiting construction sites, client offices, or attending industry events. The position may require occasional travel within the designated sales territory to meet with clients or attend meetings.
