The Day-Use Attendant works to provide an exceptional experience to all visitors in Day Use Areas while maintaining fee compliance and upholding cleanliness and safety standards.
LOCATION:
Day-Use areas in Big Sur include Mill Creek, Pfeiffer Beach, Sand Dollar Beach, and Willow Creek. Big Sur is a rugged stretch of California’s central coast between Carmel and San Simeon. Bordered to the east by the Santa Lucia Mountains and the west by the Pacific Ocean, it’s traversed by narrow, 2-lane State Route 1, known for winding turns, seaside cliffs, and views of the often-misty coastline.
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent. Education and experience will be taken into consideration
- Intermediate computer skills; Experience with standard business software/equipment
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community. Prefer knowledge of and previous experience with diverse populations
- Valid driver’s license
