In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities
- Available to work Monday-Friday
- Required to Work 1 Saturday a month
- Must be able to Study and Pass the Pesticide Applicator Examinations
- Operate the company vehicle safely and care for vehicle and equipment as if it were your property
- Communicate with customers
- Simple math
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Apply pest control treatments using various methods, including chemical applications and traps, while adhering to safety regulations.
- Utilize equipment and hand tools effectively for pest management tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment details and follow-up actions.
- Communicate with clients regarding pest issues, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Drive to job sites efficiently while ensuring the safe transportation of equipment and materials.
- Collaborate with team members on larger projects or complex pest control situations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pest control techniques, and safety protocols.
Skills
- Knowledge of pest control methods and best practices is essential; prior experience is a plus.
- Ability to drive safely and efficiently to various locations while managing time effectively.
- Familiarity with landscaping practices can be beneficial in understanding outdoor pest environments.
- Sales skills are advantageous for promoting services and building client relationships.
