Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development.
- Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children, including those with disabilities or special needs.
- Engage children in educational activities that stimulate curiosity and encourage exploration.
- Monitor children's progress and behavior, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development, daily activities, and any concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive teaching approach.
Requirements
- Experience working with students in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
- A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or related field is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
- Experience in infant care, toddler care, or preschool settings is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
- First Aid/CPR certification is preferred but not required at the time of hire.
