- Inspect and analyze local traffic conditions.
- Investigate field conditions, and determine the need for new traffic control installations, or the modification or replacement of existing installations.
- Investigate complaints and reports of potential traffic hazards.
- Review work zone traffic control.
- Prepare reports.
- Initiate and prepare work orders.
- Makes field inspections to ensure work was completed in accordance with prepared plans and specifications.Perform administrative tasks like scheduling and coordinating with teams
- Work overtime, travel, and handle on-call or after-hours responsibilities as needed, and perform duties in all weather conditions
- Other duties as assigned
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
- Prior experience within the Telecommunications or Utility Construction/Maintenance industry (preferred)
- Prior experience with installation/repair/maintenance and the location of underground utilities (preferred)
- Able to read and interpret utility maps to determine the presence of underground utilities, as well as blueprints to ensure work performed is according to contract requirements
- Proficient with computer skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills required
- Routinely: work alone in remote locations, operate vehicle, squeeze, bend, stoop, stand, walking, climb stairs, use keyboard and mouse
- Occasionally: work at heights, use ladder, life greater than 55 pounds
