We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our team and help maintain our computer systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support to users. The ideal candidate should have experience with system administration, networking, and security protocols, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Monitor system performance and security.
- Create user accounts and manage access privileges.
- Perform system backups and recovery.
- Develop and maintain system documentation.
- Provide technical support to users.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience in system administration, computer networking, and software troubleshooting
- Familiarity with RAID controllers, service-oriented architecture, and Pegasystems
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases, AWS, and Agile methodologies
- Strong understanding of VPNs, firewalls, and load balancing
- Certification in VMWare or relevant IT certifications
