Job Description:
The Accounting Assistant will primarily be responsible for directing calls to appropriate department representatives and aiding accounting with sorting and preparing paperwork.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct incoming customer calls to the correct department
- Utilize an in-house phone system to move from call to call in a timely manner
- Perform excellent customer service when on the phone with prospective or current clients
- Ensure accurate customer information for the sales team
- Work with the sales team on incoming calls and customer needs
- Sort and organize accounting paperwork when needed
- Aid in various accounting tasks when required
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong customer service skills, both in person and virtually
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Etc.)
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good time-management skills in a fast-paced environment
Experience:
- 1-2 years of customer service or call center experience
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
