Position Summary
Safety Sensitive Position
The Server is responsible for daily meal service. This service may also include assisting other dietary positions with meal preparation.
Essential Job Duties
- Taking food orders and delivering beverage orders
- Ensuring resident satisfaction
- Assisting in bussing and resetting tables
- Providing quick, efficient, and pleasant delivery of food
- Ensuring that quality standards and service are being delivered
- Deliver meals to residents unable to dine in the dining room.
- Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations for social or business functions.
- Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors promoting a homelike environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) is preferred.
- Must meet all healthcare requirements, including Tuberculosis skin test
- Must be in positive standing with all healthcare agencies, including the Employment Clearance Registry and Adult Maltreatment Registry
- One year serving experience is preferred.
- Flexibility with schedule and availability to work evenings and weekends preferred
Physical Demands:
This position may require constant standing/walking and repetitive motions, frequent bending/stooping, reaching, lifting/handling, pushing/pulling and occasional carrying. Weights may vary up to 10 pounds and the frequency of treatments may vary.
