Summary

As a Veterinary Technician at ParkView Animal Hospital, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional veterinary care. This position is essential for supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the health and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exam; accurately count heart, pulse rate, temperature, respiratory rate.
• Record medical history from client.
• Assist veterinarians during examinations .
• Perform diagnostic tests and laboratory work as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
• Provide compassionate care to animals and educate pet owners on proper animal care practices.
• Monitor patients' recovery and report any changes in condition to the veterinary team.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment in accordance with aseptic techniques.
