Job Opportunity : Housekeeping Aide
Facility : Parkview Care and Rehabilitation Center
Position Type : PRN (As Needed)
Shifts Available : 7 AM–3 PM, 3 PM–11 PM, and 11 PM–7 AM
Pay Rate : $18 per hour
Key Responsibilities
As a Housekeeping Aide, your role will be essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. Duties include but are not limited to :
- Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and dusting floors.
- Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, basins, resident beds, and furniture.
- Vacuuming and dusting equipment, computers, and phones.
- Maintaining cleanliness in resident rooms, nurses' stations, visitor bathrooms, and nourishment / medication refrigerators under nursing supervision.
- Emptying wastebaskets regularly and ensuring rooms are stocked with necessary supplies.
- Performing high-dusting, special cleaning projects, and preparing for audits by regulatory agencies.
- Reporting repair needs and adhering to safety and dress code policies.
- Assisting with the orientation of new staff and participating in performance improvement activities.
- Responding to pages and performing emergency duties when needed for resident welfare or facility efficiency.
