We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler/Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. As a Childcare Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development and education of children aged 6wekks to 5 years, helping them build foundational skills through engaging activities and lessons.
Infant Teachers will care for ages 6weeks-18 months.
Toddler Teachers will care for ages 18 month-2.5 years old.
Preschool Teachers will care for ages 2.5year-5years old.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate social-emotional plans that promote learning in various subjects, including discovery, exploration and learning while creating their identity.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster strong relationships and support each child's journey.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed.
- Provide early intervention support for children who may need additional assistance in their development.
- Organize and participate in classroom activities that promote social skills, emotional development, and physical coordination.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that is conducive to learning.
Skills
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage young learners effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including gaining the understanding of each individual child and family.
- Experience or training in Early Childhood Education is highly desirable.
- Ability to educate children on foundational concepts of Creativity, Social Emotional skills and other subjects through hands-on activities.
- A nurturing demeanor with a passion for fostering children's security, growth and development.
