What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fac Tech Licensed Electrician position at Parkview Health?
Summary: Performs skilled duties primarily as a Licensed Electrician in accordance with the standard practices of the electrical trade and the National Electrical Code on all electrical equipment, systems, and fixtures in the hospital. Participates in electrical projects assigned to the department. Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on various hospital equipment. Participates in the hospital’s energy savings initiatives by equipment upgrades and/or replacement. Troubleshoots problems with hospital equipment involving electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or HVAC issues, as necessary.
Education: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with GED. Two-years technical training from a vocational or technical school, preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Valid state driver’s license is required. Requires a recognized electrician license.
Experience: Four-years combined experience as a maintenance tech and/or commercial electrician.
