What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ground technician position at Parkview Health?
Summary : Maintains and cares for hospital grounds year round including, parking areas, entrances, exits, drives, walks, retention ponds / basins, irrigation systems, lawns, flower beds and all plant life.
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of grounds keeping equipment such as mowers, tractors, trucks, utility vehicles and miscellaneous equipment.
Responsible for snow and ice removal on campus during all hours of hospital operation. Education : Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with GED.
Licensure / Certification : Valid state driver’s license is required. Experience : Two years experience in grounds related field preferred.
