What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Assistant position at Parkview Health?
Summary
As a part of the HR Department, this position will be responsible for communicating effectively with internal and external customers in person and on the phone regarding status of applications, benefits, FMLA, policies, procedures, and other related topics. Will also assist with special projects, preparing documents, scheduling appointments, and other receptionist and administrative functions. The individual is anticipated to meet the needs of customers as well as maintain a high level of service in the HR department with the expectation of being able to demonstrate multitasking abilities in a fast paced environment. Collaboratively works with team members to ensure customer satisfaction at all levels of engagement, as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be high school graduate or GED equivalent; Associate Degree strongly preferred.
- Must have a minimum of five years prior experience in administrative/receptionist positions, with emphasis in customer services, preferably in HR.
- Must have minimum of two years of Human Resources experience with a basic understanding of HR functions.
- Must have solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have strong computer skills and experience with Windows based software having proficiency in Word and Excel.
