What are the responsibilities and job description for the Imaging Director position at Parkview Health?
Summary
Under the direction of Chief Nursing & Patient Services Executive, the Imaging Director is responsible for all imaging services across Parkview Health. This includes, but is not limited to: strategic planning, operations management, overall imaging quality, process improvement and imaging efficiency, managing costs, business development, maintaining standardization, radiation safety practices, competencies, compliance and regulatory guidelines of all Parkview Imaging sites. Provides system-wide organizational leadership and assessment of the ever changing healthcare environment for emerging trends, growth and efficiency opportunities. Is the key system-wide operations leader given both the responsibility and authority to impact change for Parkview Health Imaging Services.
Education
Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field. MBA preferred but not required.
Licensure/Certification
Must be registered by a recognized Imaging modality certification/licensure body (ARRT, ARDMS, NMTCB, ARMRIT). Must also have state Department of Health licensure if required for modality certification.
Experience
A minimum of five years of experience in imaging management.
