What are the responsibilities and job description for the IS Specialist position at Parkview Health?
Summary: Assumes responsibility and accountability for the performance of expert functions as a part of the strategic and tactical delivery team. Expected to move the knowledge base forward in their area of expertise for the use of others in the Parkview organization. Specialists may be called on to manage assignments of complex portions of the project, but they are primarily responsible for the detailed delivery of specialty or technically focused projects. Should actively develop business and IT contacts and relationships to expand their expert knowledge.
Education: Minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree. Master's degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience at an expert level of performance. Knowledge of the healthcare industry is preferred. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be available to work evenings, nights or weekends as needed. Works varied and flexible hours in order to implement solutions at the convenience of the customer. Must be available and accessible 24/7/365.
