Job Responsibilities: As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist at Parkview Health, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance procedures, troubleshooting equipment maintenance problems, and assisting in other areas of facilities and grounds maintenance as directed.
You will train and orient existing and new staff, make recommendations for process improvements, participate in lean initiatives, and perform all required preventative and corrective maintenance work orders. You will also maintain and service equipment and systems such as ice makers, pneumatic tube carriers, HVAC systems, doors/automatic openers, and assist in the boiler plant operation.
Additionally, you will maintain building finishes by performing drywall finishing, painting, staining, and repair, and application of wall coverings.
We require a high school graduate or equivalent with GED, and two years of technical training from a vocational or technical school is preferred.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need four years of combined experience as a maintenance tech and/or a Licensed Plumber, with a valid state driver's license and recognized plumbing license.
