What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nutrition Support Summer Non-Clinical Intern position at Parkview Health?
The Nutrition Summer Internship will work closely with the Clinical Nutrition Manager and Registered Dietitians. Tasks to complete within this internship, will include office administration, some research, collecting data, developing presentations, and attending meetings. The specific project the intern will organize is the 2024 Year in review Data and report. Additional tasks include supporting the Research Dietetic Technology program, requirements, writing a job profile and present proposal based on findings.
The ideal candidate will be well organized, self-directed, motivated, have strong communication skills and be a critical thinker. Must have Knowledge and experience with Microsoft applications including Excel and power point. The ideal candidate will be enrolled in a Dietetics program.
This position will work between 30-40 hours per week. The internship will be flexible on a office location, and will consider candidates who reside in or near any of the counties with a Parkview Hospital.
Must be current undergraduate college student or graduate college student. Specific educational focus or degree may be preferred depending on the hosting department of the internship. Specific license and/or certification may be preferred depending on the hosting department of the internship. GPA of 3.0 or above Submission of Cover Letter Resume and Letter of Recommendation. Other qualifications may vary by department of internship.
