What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parkview Noble Hospital Rehab Therapy Summer Non-Clinical Intern position at Parkview Health?
The Rehab Therapy Summer Internship position functions as rehab tech in the department. Assists the department with daily tasks such as cleaning, stocking, record keeping, and assisting therapists during therapy tasks. Time is primarily spent in the pediatric department.
Specific projects will be assigned to this role, including key research projects for each therapist. Additionally, this intern will work on the development of therapy materials for our pediatric program. A specific skillset that is key to this role is that the intern is approachable and friendly to patients and staff.
The work schedule for this internship is Monday through Friday. The hours would be from 8:30-5:00 p.m. For this Summer Internship Position, a specific program or areas of study that would area best fit a student with an educational background in PT, OT, or ST (Physical, Occupational, Speech Therapies), or Exercise Physiology.
Must be a current undergraduate college student or graduate college student. Specific educational focus or degree may be preferred depending on the hosting department of the internship. Specific license and/or certification may be preferred depending on the hosting department of the internship. GPA of 3.0 or above Submission of Cover Letter Resume and Letter of Recommendation. Other qualifications may vary by department of internship.
