What are the responsibilities and job description for the Principal Technical Program Management Professional - Data Governance position at Parkview Health?
Summary: Responsible for co-leading Data Governance program; developing/maintaining Business Objects universes in a health care data warehouse environment and will develop complex reports/dashboards using advanced Business Objects techniques and build ad hoc capabilities into the universes. Creates adaptable dashboards using Business Objects 4.0, Lumira, Explorer, and Webi.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent of an additional 8 years experience in a comparable job. Graduate degree desirable, in a science or business concentration, with an emphasis in computer information systems/analytics.
Licensure/Certification: Epic certification a plus, but not required.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional IT experience with a focus on Business Intelligence and analytics. Experience in SAP suites preferred. Development experience with Business Objects XI and/or 3.x products. Experience developing Web Intelligence reports using custom variables, input controls, and LOVs. Experience developing universes using derived tables, data security, and linked universes. Must have a good verbal and written communication skills and recognized leadership qualities. Demonstrates skill and/or experience in following root cause analysis and problem solving. Possesses a deep understanding of: Data Warehouse Design and Architecture; MS SQL Server Data Warehouse features. Preferred Qualifications: Business Objects suite and tools; and understanding of EPIC reporting implementation and architecture. Knowledge of RDBMS; strong SQL knowledge and the ability to understand and construct complex SQL queries.
