What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Well-Being Coordinator position at Parkview Health?
Summary
The Youth Well-Being Coordinator’s primary responsibility will be to oversee the planning and implementation of FitKids360, a healthy lifestyle program for families, across Northeast Indiana. Serves as the leader for youth well-being programs. Responsible for developing, implementing and managing youth well-being programs to positively impact the health and well-being of youth throughout the community. Develops business and communication plans for the programs. Works in conjunction with the Community Well-Being team, Community Benefit managers, an array of community members, internal clinical service lines, physicians, hospital management and board members. Carries out Parkview's mission in a collaborative way creating synergy to accomplish community health improvement/wellness goals and to build a community environment focused on overall health and well-being. Frequent travel outside of Allen County will occur.
Education
Bachelor's degree required.
Experience

3-5 years experience in program development, health and well-being or related experience. |
Other Qualifications
|
Demonstrates strong interpersonal, project management, and team management skills. Proven track record of successful relationship management including interacting and building relationships with Parkview and community leaders, school district administrators, educators, school staff, and youth workers. |
