Complete the entire Career Path and you can potentially earn an additional $5,200 annually on top of shift differentials, frequent salary increases, and routine range adjustments.Summary : Provides world-class pharmacy services while assisting the Pharmacist in assigned areas of drug procurement, preparation, storage, inventory control, distribution, orders, and dispensing.Primary Functions : Monitor and replenish medication inventory using automated dispensing cabinets and inventory management technologyPrepare compounded sterile productsMaintain controlled substance inventory with high accountability and accurate documentationCommunicate medication needs with pharmacist and nursing staffEducation : High school graduate or equivalent GED required. Successful completion of algebra, clerical, and science courses preferred. Computer classes and experience preferred.Licensure / Certification : Must have or be eligible for an Indiana Board of Pharmacy Tech in Training license or a current State Board of Indiana license as a Pharmacy Technician or Intern. A Tech in Training program is offered internally. Full Technician or Intern licensure must be obtained within 1 year of employment.Experience : One year pharmacy experience and / or pharmacy technician oriented formal class work preferred.
