Parkview Health is seeking board-certified Neurologist for consulting Neurologist/Neurohospitalist hyrbid role. This role serves to join a multidisciplinary Neurosciences team including Neurocritical Care, Neurosurgery and Neuro-Interventional Radiology
Ideal candidates for our Multidisciplinary practice will have an interest in general neurology or sub-specialty interests in Epileptology, MS & Neuroimmunology, Vascular neurology, Movement disorders, Headache management, Neuromuscular disease, Neuro-oncology, or Behavioral Neurology. Flexible inpatient and outpatient opportunities are available, as well as subspecialty practice development.
Specifics of the Role of a Neurohospitalist
- Consulting Service Only
- Emergency Department stroke assessments with guidance for thrombolytic therapy
- Virtual neurology consultations at affiliated outlying hospitals
- Electroencephalogram interpretation
- Flexible and light overnight call schedule
- Inpatient and Outpatient opportunities available
- Expertise in stroke and EEG interpretation are an asset
- Separate NeuroICU service covered by neurointensivists
